This year, as a treat for Valentines Day' will be two films, 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi' and 'Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal'! This film that stars Atharva and Amala Paul in the lead roles is produced and directed by Elred Kumar and will hit the screens on February 17.

The film saw two single track launches, individually, which was followed by the full album launch in late 2011 and has a track crooned by Shruti Haasan. Music is one of the important aspects of this flick, we learn. The music has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The film has been canned in never seen before locales in USA.

MUK is already much talked about for the on screen chemistry between Atharva and Amala Paul.

Richa Gangopadhyay shot to fame with her debut 'Mayakkam Enna' and managed to woo audience with her performance as Yamini. Recently, miscreants and rumour mills worked over time and suggested that Richa will be seen in an item number in Prabhu Deva's 'Rowdy Rathore', a Hindi remake of super hit 'Siruthai'.

The actress has denied these as mere rumours, she says, "I wasn't approached and I haven't given any nod to a number in Rowdy Rathore. In fact I haven't even met Prabhu Deva till date! I'm not interested in doing item numbers either; I prefer performances that are balanced with glamour any day".

However, it may be mentioned Richa is the female lead in the Bengali remake of 'Siruthai' where she shares screen space with Prosenjit.

Arun has had a bad breakup with his girlfriend Parvathi after a year-long relationship. This comes as a dramatic incident in his otherwise smooth life. He finds it hard to cope with it at first but then loses hope on love completely. He then starts narrating to us about how men and women generally mess up in love from the incidents that happen around him. There's Vignesh who is interested in a girl in the college who doesn't even know that he likes her; Siva who keeps giving wrong advice to Vignesh, Parvathi's parents who are on the verge of a divorce after 20 years of marriage and other mess-ups. Amidst all this he tells us how his relationship with Parvathi got messed up. Whether all these mess ups get resolved or not forms the rest of the story.

FACTS:

Film shoot started off on Sept 26, just 6 months later now the film is already nearing a release in both Tamil and Telugu
Because of intense planning and efficient execution the film shoot in both languages combined took just 40 days!
The film's journey began from the hit short film by Balaji Mohan which went viral on youtube, getting more than 4 lakh views in just a week.
The short film caught, cinematographer Nirav Shah's attention and he reached through to Balaji Mohan.
This is the first short film in India made into a feature
The film features an ensemble cast which includes senior character artists which include yesteryear hero Suresh, Ravi Ragavendhar, Surekha Vani, Sriranjani, RJ Balaji, VJ Shyam and new faces Arjun, Vignesh and VJ Pooja
Within 4days both Tamil and Telugu trailers together had a 2 lakh hits in youtube
Balaji mohan did his first short film "Vellicham" when he was doing his engineering. His venture started after his parents got him a handy camera.
Balaji Mohan worked as an assistant for the film Drohi after which he got into Nalaya Iyakunar on Kalaignar tv
Balaji Mohan had already in the middle of script work for a feature length version of the short film when Mr. Nirav Shah approached him . Mr.Nirav Shah introduced Balaji to Mr.Sashikanth.

"Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi" is third film produced by Mr.Sashikanth's YNOT STUDIOS after "Tamil Padam" and "Va Quarter Cutting"
Balaji Mohan submitted a fully complete bound dialogue script to the producer.
Balaji Mohan and Ynot Studios worked on the script of KSY for almost one year time and had a perfect pre-production for the shoot…From there "KSY" kicked off…
Siddharth had seen the short film long back on youtube himself and had been searching for Balaji Mohan.
YNOT studios took this to Siddharth
Siddharth was impressed by the script and gave an immediate go ahead.

S.S.Thaman's association with Balaji Mohan started off from another youtube hit short film "Mittaai Veedu" which also went viral.
Balaji had already made a pact with S.S.Thaman that his first feature would have his music.
Balaji says that S.S.Thaman was one of the first people from the industry who came forward offering to work with him.
The 2 have come together to cook up a rocking soundtrack, which will stand out among all of S.S.Thaman's albums.
With the collaboration of S.S.Thaman's "Boys" buddy Siddharth, the songs have turned out to be an absolute riot!
Siddharth has sung two songs in this film.

A melodramatic love story laced with comedy and a twist in the tale.

Is this an entertainer or a tearjerker ?

A perfect blend of entertainment which dominates the first half and sentiment which takes the centre stage in the second half. Sentiment is the mainstay in the film.

How are the performances ?

Venkatesh is at his elemental best as Bodyguard Venkatadri. Comic scenes in the first half are a cakewalk for a seasoned actor like Venkatesh. Sentiment scenes are performed with equal ease by him. Trisha gets a meaty role and she does complete justice to the character. Saloni performs well within her limits. Prakash Raj gets to do what he does in every other film these days. Other actors like Ali, Subba Raju, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jayaprakash Reddy and MS Narayana are adequate.

What about the all important story and dialogues ?

Lets not waste time talking about the story which is no secret to anybody who follows Indian film industry as this has already been made in 3 different languages. Dialogues are adequate and at times extremely funny in comedy scenes. Sentiment dialogues could have been a bit better but there is nothing much to complain about.

What about the music ?

Songs are a definite plus for the film and S.S.Thaman scores well in BGM department. He has done a wonderful job in elevating the mood of the film be it in romantic scenes or action scenes.

Other technical departments and production values ?

Editing and cinematography are adequate. Songs are canned in picturesque locations and production values for the remainder of the film are top notch.

Gopichand Malineni…How did he handle the remake ?

Gopichand by and large did stick to the original version of the film and made a faithful remake of the Malayalam version of the movie. He succeeded in making a entertaining first half and a riveting second half.

Nanban in Trouble

The Vijay starrer, Shankar directed Nanban ran into trouble with the film's screening in Salem city had to be stopped over protests by the India Jananayaga Katchi. The protestors not only staged a protest but also resorted to stone pelting following which the screening had to be stalled. According to the IJK, certain scenes in the film show their leader in bad light and these scenes have to be deleted immediately.

Reacting to these protests, the Theatre Owners' Association, in a press release, said that if the stone pelting on theatres continued, they would stop screening films until safety is ensured.

Pooja Bose is an Indian Television actress. She had played the role of Radha in Balaji Telefilms' Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki. She played the lead role Vrinda in the Balaji serial Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna with her co-actor Kunal Verma, which aired on STAR Plus.

After starting her television career with Ekta Kapoor's Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Ki, Pooja Bose would now be seen in Balaji's upcoming romantic show Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajana, in which she is playing the role of a simple Punjabi girl, Vrinda. Pooja only views the shows in which she works in and hence couldn't compare her shows with the other shows aired on television. But the actress confidently declared her show to be a hit since the show belongs to Ekta Kapoor.

Marie Bose is the daughter of Papiya Bose (actress). She spent her early life at Kolkata. She did internship at Takhur collage Mumbai.

Sneha Marriage date will be announced soon

Sneha and Prasanna, who previously announced about their relationship, now confirmed that their marriage date will be declared by the end of January.

During the Tamil film'Achamundu Achamundu'shooting, the pair fell in love. Two months ago the couple made a formal announcement about their relationship and the wedlock.

Prasanna and Sneha were recently spotted in cuddappah in Andhra Pradesh. The stars have offered prayers in famous Darga and Prasanna said "Many told us that this is a very powerful Darga and hence we offered our prayers there on Thursday. As far as our marriage is concerned, we will make an announcement by the end of January."

Sneha also confirmed her love with Prasanna, without elaborating. It is heard that elders in both the families had interactions and taken a decision regarding the marriage of the stars.

Telugu Movie Nippu Audio Launch on January 02

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer Nippu audio is scheduled for a launch on January 2 while the movie will be hitting the big-screens on January 13 for Pongal. Producer YVS Chowdary has confirmed the news.

Though the audio was earlier planned to be released on December 28, it was postponed to January 2. Nippu is directed by Gunasekhar and produced by YVS Chowdary on Bommarillu vaari banner. Thaman is the music director for the movie.

Deeksha Seth played the leading lady. Nippu is crucial for the entire team since Ravi Teja has faced two flops Veera and Dongala Mutha recently while Guna Sekhar who faced much criticism for Varudu is expecting to bounce back with the film. Deeksha Seth who has been doing second lead roles is looking to make her position strong in Tollywood with the movie
